Not to be confused with the real life Stampede ECS.

The Stampede REV-12 is a fictional Nerf blaster that appeared in Nerf N-Strike and Nerf N-Strike Elite.

In Nerf N-Strike Elite, it is used by Shane.

In Nerf N-Strike, is unlocked by completing Recognition Elite, the second challenge of Raven's chamber; alternately, it can be unlocked early by entering the cheat code "DOGIE15".

Details[]

The Stampede REV-12 has two, separate rotating cylinders that hold six darts each. It has a integrated shoulder stock similar to the Firefly REV-8, with storage of up to six darts on each side.

In-game data[]

This '09 N-Strike blaster is twice the fun. With its twin eight-inch barrels, a load capacity of twelve darts, and a rate of fire of five darts per second, this piece of hardware is welcome in any N-Striker's hands.

This dual crosshair sidearm commands authority.

Modification[]

In Nerf N-Strike Elite, the Stampede can have its Dart Damage, Rate of Fire, and Max Ammo upgraded. By default, it fires Micro Darts, but can be upgraded to fire Streamline Darts, Whistler Darts, Howler Darts, Smoke Tracers, and Nova Tracers.

Trivia[]

  • This blaster may have been the inspiration for the Barrel Break IX-2, due to similarities in the appearances of both blasters. But, unlike the Stampede REV-12, the Barrel Break IX-2 does not feature revolving cylinders and a pump-action priming mechanism.
  • Despite its in-game description calling it an "'09" blaster, neither it, nor the Barrel Break, nor the real-life Stampede ECS, were released in 2009.
  • It is unknown how this weapon can be reloaded. It could be reloaded by swinging out the cylinders like the Maverick REV-6.
