Not to be confused with the N-Strike Elite Scout MKII or the Zombie Strike Sidestrike's prototype name.

The Scout IX-3 is an internal mechanism Nerf blaster that was released in 2003 under the N-Strike series.

It comes packaged in the Unity Power System, Tech Target Set, and Scout IX-3 2-Pack blaster sets, and cannot be purchased separately.

Details[]

The Scout is a slide-action blaster that loads from the muzzle. A button on the priming slide enables the blaster to be fired when connected to the Titan AS-V.1 to form the Unity Power System combo blaster. It has storage for two additional darts below the muzzle.

Both a tactical rail and strap point are built into the priming slide.

History[]

The Scout was one of the first blasters to be released under the N-Strike series. It first came packaged in the Unity Power System, along with the Hornet AS-6, and the Titan AS-V.1.

In 2005, it was re-released with the Action Blasters Tech Target Set, under the name of the Tech Target Eliminator. It was later replaced in the Tech Target Set by the Reflex IX-1 in 2009.

It was re-released again 2011, within a two-pack.

It was spiritually succeeded by the 2014 Zombie Strike Sidestrike.

Blaster sets[]

The Scout IX-3 is packaged in the Titan ASV-1 & Scout IX-3 Set alongside the Titan. Two are also available in the Scout IX-3 2-Pack.

  • In the Unity Power System, the Scout comes with Micro Darts; the N-Strike releases come with Whistler Darts.
