The Elite XD RapidStrike CS-18 is a re-release of the N-Strike Elite RapidStrike CS-18 that was released in 2014 under the N-Strike Elite series.

Included contents[]

Details[]

As its name suggests, the Elite XD RapidStrike claims to feature improved "Elite XD" internals, which boosts its overall firing power. It advertises an increased firing range of up to ninety feet in the U.S. (compared to the original Elite version's seventy-five feet), or twenty-seven meters in Europe (compared to the original Elite version's twenty meters).

Despite this, and like other re-released Elite XD blasters, it features the same performance as its original counterpart.

History[]

The Elite XD RapidStrike CS-18 was first spotted on July 11, 2014 by Southern Brisbane Nerf Club.

In 2019[citation needed], the Elite XD RapidStrike was re-released with an unpainted, orange plastic stock and fewer paint operations, similar to the running change "economy" variants of different blasters. It also came with an opaque orange eighteen dart clip instead of the clear variant. As with most modern blasters, it did away with the "Elite XD" markings but still had a range claim of ninety feet/twenty-seven meters.

Color schemes[]

The Elite XD RapidStrike CS-18 has been released with the following color schemes:

  • Elite XD (blue, white, black, and orange)
  • "Orange-stock" Elite XD (blue, white, black, and orange, with unpainted stock)
