Not to be confused with the Hydro Cannon Super Soaker.
The Hydro Bazooka is a Nerf blaster that was released in 1993 under the Hydro series.
Details[]
The Hydro Blaster is a pump-action blaster that can fire two different ammunition types: Ballistic Balls and water.
When firing water, the blaster must have a ball loaded into the muzzle, in order to keep it from spilling out the front. In lieu of coming packaged with Ballistic Balls, it features a plastic ball attached to a cable, which serves a similar purpose. The blaster's water reservoir is built into the pump handle.
Located under the front of the blaster is a place to store up to three additional Ballistic Balls.
It advertises as being able to fire up to six blasts of water without having to reload.
History[]
The Hydro Bazooka was shown off at the 1993 New York Toy Fair.[2]
Trivia[]
- The Hydro Bazooka was the only blaster released under the Hydro series; another blaster, the Harpoon Crossbow, was intended for release, but was ultimately cancelled.
